Prime Video renews the teen drama for a second season, before debuting

The new series will be available on the streaming service from Friday 17 June.

Summer in your eyes enjoys great esteem at Amazon Studios, and it couldn’t be otherwise. One of the most anticipated new series of the summer, an adaptation of a successful novel, the teen drama has already been renewed for a second season, before debuting on Prime Video in just over a week, Friday 17 June.

Summer in your eyes: The plot and the cast

A coming-of-age story about first love, first broken heart and the magic of a perfect summer, Summer in your eyes (The Summer I Turned Pretty in the original version) tells the story of Belly (played by Lola Tung), a teenager who measures time in summers: all the beautiful and magical things that have happened to her in her life happened between June and August. But now that she is 16, everything is about to change. After her mom’s best friend arrives at her beach house, Belly finds herself in the middle of a love triangle with her kids, Jeremiah and Conrad (Christopher Briney And Gavin Casalegno), the friends she grew up with who had never been interested in her like that before.

The rest of the cast includes Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard (You Me Her), Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso (Manifest), Minnie Mills, Colin Ferguson (Eureka) And Tom Everett Scott (Thirteen).
