Problems of Korona Kielce’s rival. Transfer ban from FIFA –

The bitter beginning of 2022 is experienced by Korona Kielce’s league rival, ŁKS Łódź. The two-time Polish champion is struggling with major financial problems. To make matters worse, the International Football Federation (FIFA) has imposed a ban on the registration of new players on the club in Łódź.

This decision has its origins in the summer of last year. ŁKS said goodbye to the Serbian player – Dragoljuba Srnic, giving him a free hand in looking for a new employer. The problem is that the club based on Aleja Unii Lubelskiej was obliged to settle the financial arrears towards the player, which he did not do.

Łukasze Sekulski (formerly Korona) was also a victim of similar actions. The sniper left Łódź by mutual agreement, agreeing to spread the receivables in installments. There was no money on the account of the Wisła Płock forward, but a heavy penalty from FIFA appeared on the desk of the president of ŁKS. According to her announcement, the ninth strength of Fortune of the 1st League will not contract any new players this winter.

The president of the Serbian Football Association, Mirko Poledica, informed about the federation’s decision:

They don’t have to worry about that in Kielce. The Crown is taking small steps back on the track of financial stability, after the destructive rule of the German owners, and its authorities have announced strengthening in every position.

– We did the fitting. In winter it is much easier to find valuable players abroad. We cannot afford cash transfers. We already have a narrow list of players who can find us. There may always be something new. Most leagues are still playing, and we aim at players who are in the rhythm of the match, we are looking at the highest league. We will do everything we can to make these reinforcements. We are looking for quality – said the sports director of Kielce, Paweł Golański.

– We want to attract three players who can immediately enter the game and be a competition. There are not too many matches, but diseases and injuries can occur. We will also watch young boys – announced Leszek Ojrzyński in an interview with Damian Wysocki (Radio eM Kielce).

Korona, with coach Ojrzyński at the controls, will return to training next Monday, January 10th. At the moment, it is not known whether new players will appear on the first unit in 2022.
