PC SP Contest Candidates will be evaluated in the following steps:

• Preamble Test (Objective) – Exclusion and Classification.
• Written exam (descriptive) – exclusionary and categorical.
• Proof of conformity and appropriate behavior through social surveys – exclusion.
• Oral exam – exclusive and categorical.
• Title Test – Classification.

For Registrar and Investigator positions, the pre-examination lasts four hours and is applicable on the scheduled date. November 26, 2023morning duty, municipalities of São Paulo, Aracatuba, Bauru, Campinas, Presidente Prudente, Ribeiron Preto, Santos, São Jose do Rio Preto, São José
Dos Campos, Piracicaba and Sorocaba.

For the Medical Examiner and Criminal Specialist positions, the pre-examination also lasts four hours and is applied on the day. December 3, 2023morning duty in the municipalities of São Paulo, Aracatuba, Baúl, Campinas, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirao Preto, Santos, São Jose do Rio Preto, São Jose dos Campos and Sorocaba.

Written test (written test)

The PC SP Ordinance written exam is graded on a scale of 0 (zero) to 100 (100) points, with a maximum of 25 (25) points assigned to each essay question.

The following criteria are considered in this step: Featured content – up to 25 points. Master cultural norms, coherence (anafar, catafar, substitution, conjugation, etc.), and textual coherence.

The written exam lasts 3 hours and is applied in the afternoon shift on the same day as the objective exam.

Oral exam

The oral exam, recorded in audio and video, consists of candidates’ discussions in an open session and covers knowledge in the following areas:

• Registrar and Investigator: Law, Criminology, Portuguese Concepts.
• Professionals: Legal and Criminological Concepts, IT, Portuguese.
• Coroner: forensics, criminology, law concept.

Examiners in each area will award candidates a score from 0 to 100, with a minimum score of 50 points in each area and an average total score will be considered approved. Fifty percent (50 percent) or more.

title test

After the results of the oral examination are published, the approved candidates will be summoned by publication in the São Paulo State Gazette and the VUNESP Bank website to present the title in person or by proxy.

This stage consists of scoring titles related to the candidate’s training and professional experience, limited to a maximum of 10 points (judicial scriveners, investigators, specialists) to 20 points (legal physician). It is as follows.

• Graduate Diploma:
  • PhD Recognition or revalidation: 5 points, maximum of 5 points.
  • master’s degree Recognition or revalidation: 4 points, maximum 4 points.
  • Specialized field In accordance with current teaching legislation, in compliance with CNE/CES Resolution No. 1/2018, with a minimum work load of 360 teaching hours, and assessment considering course completion work: 2 points to a limit of 4 points.
  • BookWritten exclusively by the Candidate and related to the fields of law, forensics, criminology or public safety registered with the International Standard Book Number (ISBN): 1 point, maximum 3 points.
  • articleWritten exclusively by the candidate, published by the date of publication of this announcement, published in a professional journal with an editorial board relevant to the field of law, forensics, criminology or public security, and registered with the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN): 1 point, maximum 2 points.
  • Teaching practice For official or accredited institutions of higher education: 1 point per year of instruction, maximum 2 points.
