Coronavirus in Russia. The epidemic situation slightly improved
Russia has seen a decline in the number of people infected with the coronavirus. On Sunday, November 21, sanitary services diagnosed 35,681 new cases. That’s the least since October 24. In the last 24 hours, Russian doctors recorded 1,241 deaths of patients suffering from COVID-19.
According to data from the Russian sanitary services, the epidemic is improving the fastest in Moscow. Last day, 2,786 new cases of infection were diagnosed in the Russian capital. This is almost 700 less than the day before. A similar trend was recorded in St. Petersburg and Podolsk.
Russian doctors are still concerned about the high mortality rate among COVID-19 patients. Medics appeal to Russians to vaccinate themselves and wear masks. So far, less than 40 percent of citizens have been vaccinated in Russia.
