Mohamed-Ali Cho is very popular among European clubs. Currently, RB Leipzig is in the lead in the fight for his favor, informs “L’Équipe”.
The nearly 18-year-old Angers player is considered a very promising footballer in France and therefore is closely watched by envoys from strong teams from the Old Continent, despite the fact that he does not have impressive statistics – two goals in 18 appearances this season.
However, this does not bother the clubs which AC Milan was the first to take to concrete actions.
Soon after, however, the “Rossoneri” faced serious competition in the form of Borussia Dortmund, which expressed its willingness to spend about 20 million euros on Mohamed-Ali Cho.
The team from Signal Iduna Park did not enjoy their privileged position in the fight for a young footballer for too long, because now RB Leipzig was to beat their offer.
Journalists of “L’Équipe” argue that envoys from the league rival BVB met with President Angers and discussed with him the offer of EUR 20-25 million.
All the proposals so far, however, significantly deviate from the expectations of the team from Ligue 1, which would like to earn up to EUR 40 million on it.
Apart from the aforementioned teams, Cho’s actions are also closely watched by representatives of Chelsea and Atlético Madrid.
