Riots in the Netherlands. Zwolle introduces a curfew

Mayor of 130,000 residents Zwolle decided to take this step because of the signals of Fr. riotsthat would take place during the demonstration planned for the evening.

“ The manifestation was not registered, ” Mayor Peter Snijders told RTV Oost, adding that authorities had received signals that protesters plan to start a row with the police.

The commune appealed to the inhabitants and entrepreneurs to secure their bicycles, flower pots and benches.

Over the weekend there were riots in many Dutch cities, during which the protesters clashed with the police. They started on Friday in Rotterdamwhen an illegal demonstration by opponents of the government’s anti-COVID-19 policy turned into a regular one battle with the security forces.
