Riyad Mahrez reunited with former Leicester City teammate N’Golo Kante in Saudi Arabia during the league game between Al Ittihad and Al Ahly on Friday night.
Both were part of the historic Leicester City team that defied all the odds to win the 2016 English Premier League.
Subsequently, Mahrez left to join Manchester City, while Kante joined London giants Chelsea.
Both players went on to win the UEFA Champions League and further Premier League titles with City and Chelsea.
In a post shared on social media, Mahrez expressed his excitement after meeting his former teammate.
“Brothers,” he wrote xWhich was earlier known as Twitter.

Meanwhile, in a star-studded game, it was fan-less Al Ahly who surprised Al Ittihad after winning 1-0 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie scored the only goal of the game in the first half, helping Al Ahly bounce back from a loss to Al Nassr and return to winning ways, reports ESPN.
“We are Al Ahly,” an excited Mahrez posted on social media after the match.
Mahrez and Kante have been key players for their respective clubs this season as the Saudi Pro League race heats up.

First, game brief Ivorian midfielder, Franck Kessie was reported to be the star of the Jeddah derby after scoring the only goal of the match between Al Ahly and Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.

The former AC Milan and Barcelona midfielder fired from the edge of the box to beat Marcelo Greho at the Ittihad post.
At King Abdullah Sports City, the visiting team held on till the end and ended the game with victory.

Saudi Arabia has become the center of attention in sports following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar following the influx of superstar footballers from Europe.
