From 2003, one person always accompanied Robert Downey Jr. on movie sets. It was Jimmy Rich, who tragically died on Wednesday, May 5. The actor said goodbye to his friend in a touching entry, and he also commemorated the man Chris Evans.

Downey Jr. posted the news of the “terrible and shocking tragedy” on his social media the day after the incident. An actor at the Jimmy Rich photo gallery reported that the man had died in a car accident. He was 52 years old.

He was a brother, my right hand, an uncle to our children and loved by all who experienced his unique character and wit. Our thoughts are with his relatives, friends, colleagues and fans who knew him as a man to support me at every stage of my recovery, life and career. Again, I send my condolences to his beautiful family and the legacy of hope and redemption for his life will continue.
