In an interview with TMZ Sports, Aaron claims that Sandra Bullock does not deserve such punishment, since she has nothing to do with the controversy that has been making headlines for a few days.
Let’s get the facts straight: In a motion filed in a Tennessee court on Monday, former NFL player Michael Oher – whose story inspired the hit film The Blind Side, released in 2009 – accuses his adoptive parents, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, of having generated several million dollars behind his back by cashing in on his popularity. He accuses them in particular of having invented certain elements of the scenario, including the fact of having been adopted by the couple.

In the wake of the controversy, a movement launched Tuesday on the social network X (formerly Twitter) calls for Sandra Bullock to withdraw the Oscar for best actress she won in 2010 for her interpretation of the character of Leigh Anne Tuohy.
“Sandra Bullock gave a brilliant performance in the film. It shouldn’t be tarnished by something unrelated to her,” Quinton Aaron told TMZ Sports.
