Sandra Bullock: her husband, Bryan Randall, died at the age of 57

The terrible news was announced by his family on Monday, August 7, in a press release published by “People” magazine: “It is with great sadness that we announce that Bryan passed away peacefully on August 5, after three years of battle against Charcot’s disease”, one can read.

This neurodegenerative condition is also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and begins by causing muscle weakness, and finally, progressive paralysis. “Bryan chose very early on not to reveal his journey with Charcot’s disease and those of us who cared for him did their best to honor his request”, explains Bryan Randall’s family before thanking the medical teams.

For her part, Sandra Bullock has made no statement about the loss of her spouse. However, his sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado paid tribute to his brother-in-law on her Instagram account: “I am convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in paradise and is already casting his bait in rushing rivers overflowing salmon,” she wrote in the caption.

Bryan Randall was a former model, later a photographer. It was in 2015 that he met Sandra Bullock for the first time, on the occasion of the birthday of Louis, the eldest son of the actress. A few months later, they formalized their relationship by appearing together at the wedding of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.
