Scarlett Johansson’s first big role in a TV series
For Scarlett Johansson this is the first leading role in a TV series. In fact, during her career, on TV she only occasionally appeared on the sketch show Saturday Night Live and for a cameo in the series Entourageas well as lend her voice to the stop motion comedy series Robot Chicken. Ironically, however, the actress already had a connection with Katzenbach’s novel; in fact she as a child she – at just 10 years old – she had starred in the 1995 film based on the same book and always entitled The just cause. Directed by Arne Glimcherthe film version involved the cast Sean Connery (Johansson was just playing his character’s daughter) e Laurence Fishburne. For her, then, this series is a bit of a throwback to when her glittering career in film was just getting started.
