Kaja Ziomek took third place in the 500-meter competition during the 2021/2022 speed skating World Cup competition in Stavanger!

Born in 1997, the Polish woman was 37.746 times and improved her life record. On February 15, 2020, she measured 37,793 at the World Championship at the Salt Lake City circuit.
Erin Jackson (37,602) was the third winner in a row. The representative of the United States won two victories in Tomaszów Mazowiecki last week. The second place was taken by Nao Kodaira (37,708).
Russian women appeared in the last, tenth pair. However, Angelina Golikowa and Olga Fatkulina did not manage to overtake the Polish women and were placed fourth and fifth (37,838 and 37,841). The ninth place in Stavanger was taken by Andżelika Wójcik (38,198), who from October 10th is the record holder of Poland (37,647).
So far, Kaja Ziomek was ranked highest in the World Cup on November 12, 2021. She was fifth during the inauguration of the season in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. In the 2020/2021 season, the Cuprum Lubin club player took sixth place in Heerenveen, and in the 2019/2020 edition – seventh in Nursultan.
In 2017, Artur Waś stood on the third step of the podium in the World Cup 500 m competition in Stavanger.
Another 500-meter competition will take place on Sunday.
