The alleged acts allegedly occurred at the actor’s home between 2001 and 2003 against three women, two of whom obtained the support of the jurors.

According to information obtained by “Variety”, Kutcher and Kunis joined forces in a letter to the judge in the 47 actor’s trial aimed at reducing the latter’s sentence.

In his letter, Ashton Kutcher calls Masterson a “role model,” while his partner Mila Kunis vouches for Danny Masterson’s “exceptional character.”

“While I am aware that the judgment found him guilty of two counts of rape by force and that the victims have a great desire for justice, I hope that my testimony of his character will be taken into consideration during sentencing,” Kutcher’s letter read.

“I do not believe that he represents a permanent harm to society and the fact that his daughter is raised without the presence of her father would be a third injustice in itself. Thank you for taking the time to read this.”

Kunis’ letter adds: “I wholeheartedly vouch for the exceptional character of Danny Masterson and the enormous positive influence he has had on me and the people around him. His dedication to living a drug-free life and his sincere care for others make him an exceptional role model and friend.”
