Sienna Miller was thrilled to cancel her 40th birthday in December.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night, host Jimmy asked the British actress how she celebrated her pivotal age.
Sienna revealed that she planned to have a 1920s-themed party but had to do it at the last minute due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I have the worst birthday. I was born on December 28th. I was driving this year and the man said, ‘Here we are in the black hole between Christmas and New Years – December 28th.’ And I was like, ‘Nobody ever put it like that.’ But it’s true! By the 28th you’re down,” he sighed. “I had peer pressure to organize one, extensively, which I had to cancel because of Omicron. Not that it’s a good thing, (but) it was going through England.
“Anyone who cancels the me is my favorite person.”
Elsewhere in the chat, Sienna promoted her new drama series, Anatomy of a Scandal.
And while she’s acted with some of Hollywood’s biggest names throughout her career, she admitted that working alongside Amelie Bea Smith — the voice of children’s TV character Peppa Pig — has been a highlight.
“Bradley Cooper, Clint Eastwood… but whatever because I worked with Peppa Pig. I never fangirled anyone, it was just… it was just too much,” she smiled. “I would sit there in front of the set with my cup staring at her. And then you FaceTime my daughter relentlessly, and she was such a pro.”
