The delays in the gaming industry continue. This time it was the controversial shooter Six Days in Fallujah. What’s worse, the delay is really big.
Six Days in Fallujah only in 2022
Admittedly, Six Days in Fallujah is not an easy life. The production, originally announced in 2009, was finally canceled because it aroused considerable controversy among war veterans. Everything indicated that the premiere could not be counted on, when it was suddenly announced that the production would be created. Well, the publisher of the game – Victura, in partnership with the Highwire Games studio, even planned the premiere of the game in 2021. Unfortunately, the plans ended because we had just received information that Six Days in Fallujah will not debut until the end of 2022.
Extra time to polish the game and enlarge the team
One of the reasons for the postponement of the premiere is the desire to enlarge the team to be able to fulfill the ambitions of the creators. The extra time is also intended to help fine-tune the game. It became clear that recreating these true stories in high quality will require more people, resources and time than we had before. Doubling our team up is just one of the many things we do to ensure Six Days in Fallujah brings a new kind of tactical and emotional depth to the military shooter genre – said Victura CEO Peter Tamte.
Finally, let us remind you that Six Days in Fallujah is coming to PC and consoles, although it has not been specified which one exactly. We can only wait patiently for more information about this production.
