After Gwyneth Paltrow, it’s the turn of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis to forge a partnership with the Airbnb seasonal rental platform. While in his last film You at my house and vice versaAshton Kutcher was exchanging his house with his best friend for a week, the American actor decided, with his wife, to rent out their real second home in Santa Barbara (California, United States) for one night , reports TF1 News .
A free stay
“Stay with us at our beach house and leave like we’re old buddies!” », wrote the comedian in the caption of the Instagram video announcing the project. In detail, as can be seen in the Airbnb ad, the proposed house gives direct access to the beach. The four guests will be able to share the guest house, an outbuilding located on the property. The stay will take place from August 19 to 20.
The actor couple will provide linens and food, but will also be there to welcome their overnight tenants and “ making sure they have everything you need for a fun filled stay at the beach”. Souvenir photos will be taken. In addition, this stay will be completely free. Reservations are open since Wednesday August 16, 2023.
A marketing operation
Before them, actress Gwyneth Paltrow had already offered to open the doors of her guest house in Montecito (California). “A zen moment with lots of light and fresh air” that two people will be able to experience from September 9 to 10, with the possibility of sharing, with her and her husband Brad Falchuk, “a dinner prepared by a chef” and enjoy a bottle of wine from their personal cellar. Here too, the reservation is free. It is however necessary to justify in a text why one wishes to carry out this stay.
In her Instagram post, the actress indicated that it was an initiative by Airbnb to “overcome isolation” And “to make the world a little less lonely”. But this partnership is not totally disinterested. This has indeed allowed Gwyneth Paltrow to multiply the allusions to its Goop brand, whose cosmetics will be offered to its future tenants, and Airbnb to get a good publicity.
