Tom Holland admitted in a recent interview related to the premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home that he would be open to mentoring characters such as Miles Morales and Spider-Woman. After all, he was chosen to succeed Iron-Man by Tony Stark himself, so it was not surprising.

Tom Holland will slowly become the main character in the MCU, if he isn’t already. Will the actor become even more like Stark in the movies after the 3rd part of the adventures? I think Marvel and Sony already have a detailed plan for Tom’s future in the MCU.

I love this character more than anything else. It changed my life. I have a great relationship with the fans, I couldn’t ask for her to be better, but I want to do what’s best for this character. If it is my time for me to step down and another person wants to replace me, I will be proud to do so. I’d like to see a more diverse Spider-Man universe that would be really exciting. If I could be a part of it, I could be Iron-Man for the next young Spider-Man or Spider-Woman, that would be great. But right now all I have to think about is my character and what’s best for Peter Parker.

Here is an excerpt from Holland’s interview where he says he is “stealing” the way of being Robert Downey Jr. on the red carpet.

Following the disclosure of Spider-Man’s secret identity in the final moments Far away from home, Peter Parker will ask Doctor Strange to restore his secret identity through magic – similar to the 2007 comic book One More Day. However, not everything will go so smoothly, as Parker’s interference with Strange’s spell will seriously disturb the multiverse. Spider-Man will have to face Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Lizard performed by Rhys Ifans from the movie Amazing Spider-Man. Additionally, fans await the very likely return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to the role of Spider-Man.

The film will hit theaters December 17, 2021.
