The rise in fuel prices continues to grow relentlessly. The announcement of the embargo by the United States and the United Kingdom on energy products from Russia, or the blocking of all imports, has further pushed the listing of the oil markets. With the prices of petroleum products in the Mediterranean that closed on Tuesday still in strong growth for the seventh session in a row, the companies make a new round of hikes on recommended prices. There is a novelty: diesel costs more than petrol.
THE INTERVIEW – “At this rate petrol at 4 euros per liter”
In fact, by making a price survey based on the rates communicated by the operators to the ‘Fuel Price Observatory’ service of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Respol in viale Bologna needs € 2.08 for a liter of diesel, while € 2.068 for a liter of green. The same price at Tamoil, a few hundred meters from the Repsol petrol station, while Eni recorded the most significant increases: 2.24 diesel and 2.21 petrol (in served mode the price rises to 2.45 for black fuel and 2.42 for the green). Different prices in the service areas with the six-legged dog logo in via Ravegnana and Campo di Marte (2,214 for petrol and 2,184 for diesel). Even at Esso in via Ravegnana, diesel costs more than petrol (2.21 versus 2.18), as well as at Q8 in viale Italia (2.20 versus 2.10).
At the IP in via Mattei and at the Santa Chiara roundabout, petrol and diesel travel together 2.06 euros per liter. But there are service areas where petrol exceeds the price of diesel such as the IP in via Firenze where 2.34 euros are needed for a liter of green, compared to 2.27 euros for diesel. At the Ip in Viale dell’Appennino, the green one costs € 2.24 per liter, while the diesel costs € 2.13. There are distributors around Forlì whose figures do not begin with a 2 in front and are located in Meldola: they are the Ego in via Primo Maggio (green 1.948 and diesel 1.918), the IP in via Bruno (green 1.95 and diesel 2 euros) and the Conad in via Bidente (green 1.988 and diesel 1.95). (Prices with a thousandth have been rounded to the nearest hundredth).
