Strike in Kaufland. Workers want Sunday trading restrictions

“Kaufland is not a post office” – this is one of the slogans raised by network employees who are members of the Workers’ Union trade union. The organization is in a collective dispute with the management of the network.

In addition to the issue of trade on Sundays, employees complain about wage inequalities among women and men in the same positions, discrimination against certain employees (for example women returning from maternity leave) and mobbing.

They are also calling for employees to be employed full-time, and not – as before – half-time or quarter-time.

About Eric Wilson

The variety offered by video games never ceases to amaze him. He loves OutRun's drifting as well as the contemplative walks of Dear Esther. Immersing himself in other worlds is an incomparable feeling for him: he understood it by playing for the first time in Shenmue.
