(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 14 JUN – From an international top model to a stylist, the step can also be short. Here the model Emily Ratajkowski has arrived in Florence to present the capsule collection that she has designed for Superga, a brand that she has always been a fan of and that she knows very well. “I love Superga and its timeless sneakers. I have been wearing the brand for years, so this collaboration seemed completely natural to me”, said the new ambassador of the Turin brand, explaining from which icons and women she draws inspiration.
“My style is influenced by countless women! Sometimes I can be influenced by a woman I see walking the streets of New York, other times the inspiration can come from old photos I see online of Julia Roberts or Halle Berry in the years’ 90, “he said. The collection is the synthesis between the brand’s all-Italian heritage and the unmistakable style of the model, which she has added a personal touch to the two of the brand’s iconic models, the 2750 and Alpina. The first is faithful to the original in all its elements, but is renewed with a total white look with sophisticated elegance. Alpina, on the other hand, retains the heritage details designed for 1950s hikers and is updated with a white look. Both models are customized with tubular laces, the label of the project applied to the inside and a comfortable cotton bag. The advertising campaign was shot inside the iconic Milk Studios in Los Angeles in January 2022, where Emily let herself be captured by the lens of photographer Zoey Grossman. (HANDLE).
