Adriano Panatta he no longer follows tennis like he used to. “Now that he’s stopped Federer much less”, the Italian champion announced in an interview with the weekly Chi. In Treviso, where he lives, Adriano Panatta has opened an American-style sports club: the Adriano Panatta Racquet Club. “Looks like a typical club on the California coast” – said the former tennis player – “It has tennis courts, padel, beach volleyball, spa, restaurant and swimming pool and it is one of the few clubs where anyone can enter without being a member, even just for a coffee”. Panatta admitted that he is very comfortable here: “Especially for the human dimension of daily life. Everything is easier, the quality of life is high. I have my company, my house, my friends. My passion? Getting around by bike, every day. I take incredible walks. And we are very close to Venice and Cortinawhere I often go”.
