Tennis: Sinner and Berrettini in Florence, hunt for points for Finals – Tennis

All the strongest Italian players will be there for the Firenze Open, an ATP 250 tournament that marks the return after 28 years of great international tennis to the Tuscan capital. The tournament, presented this morning, with a prize pool of 612 thousand euros, will be played from Monday 10 October at Palazzo Wanny (qualifications from Saturday). Jannik Sinner (although still in doubt as he recently injured himself), Matteo Berrettini, Lorenzo Musetti and Lorenzo Sonego have signed up, as well as top international players of the caliber of Auger-Aliassime, Brooksby, Bublik and Nakashima. They will also be in Florence with the aim of collecting precious points to win a place at the Nitto Atp Finals in Turin (13-20 November).
The ATP of Florence will be played from Monday to Saturday with daytime (starting from 11) and evening (from 19.30) sessions, on Sunday the singles and doubles finals.
The last edition of an ATP tournament was played on clay in 1994 in the historic facility of the Circolo Tennis Firenze alle Cascine. This return, on the other hand, will be on the synthetic inside a new sports hall.
