“That’s why I love the A-Force scene from the movie”

One of the most popular sequences of Avengers: Endgame is the so-called ‘A-Force scene’ that briefly unites a group of female characters from the first three Phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Zoe Saldana recently spoke about that moment in the film in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“Obviously we knew it was going to be special, and it felt good every time the Russos said ‘Action!’. But what I can remember – and these are the pearls of life that make me feel so human and keep me grounded – we just complained about how uncomfortable our costumes were, our makeup, our wigs, how cold the set was, how much we didn’t want to be there, how much we wanted to be there. So, we were just girls, you know? Even doing it together and acting tough was really special” Saldana recalled.

In the study programs the next ‘female’ chapter will be The Marvels, with Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel – Brie Larson had to work harder for the sequel, as she confessed in an interview – Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani).

A film also clearly influenced by famous A-Force sequenceas director Nia DaCosta confessed:“I, like many women around the world, watched Avengers: Endgame and saw those six seconds with all the Marvel women together”.
