The American mini-series “Nine Perfect Strangers” with Nicole KIDMAN arrives on August 26 on M6!

Nine stressed-out city dwellers who don’t know each other arrive at the same time at Tranquillum House, a fitness center that promises a “total transformation” of mind and body. Overweight, drug addiction, loss of a loved one: everyone has a different reason and purpose for being here.
Cut off from the outside world, they all fall under the spell of the enigmatic Masha (Nicole Kidman), the director of the center who will stop at nothing to treat them during this 10-day retreat.
Between meditation and other relaxation techniques, tongues loosen and everyone’s secrets are revealed. However, as the sessions progress, Masha’s unorthodox methods threaten the group…

A story adapted from a book by Liane MORIARTY

The ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ miniseries is adapted from the Australian’s novel Liane Moriarty. After the series adaptation of her bestseller “Little secrets, big lies” (“Big Little lies” – HBO), this is a new collaboration of the author with Nicole Kidman – executive producer of the series – and with the American showrunner, David E. Kelley (“Ally McBeal”).
As the series’ executive producer, Liane Moriarty said: “I am very happy and delighted to be working again with Nicole Kidman, Per Saari and Bruna Papandrea. They are talented and passionate people and I have no doubt that whatever they do with my “Nine Perfect Strangers” will be brilliant.
