The Teen Titans Go! it made its debut in Italy in 2014, and has enjoyed great success ever since. The show brought many well-known personalities to our screens, including Zack Snyder, whose career has now been celebrated with some key art published by Dan Hipp.
For those unfamiliar with him, Hipp was the art director of the DC Comics animated series and has shared his Snyderverse-inspired works on his Twitter page. In the first drawing, which you will find at the bottom of the article, we see Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman who reproduce a pose that we saw in Batman v. Superman. The second image, on the other hand, shows us Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman coming out of the sea with a dolphin and a turtle. The third tribute is perhaps the most peculiar, and shows the zombies from Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead remake and two owls referring to him from the animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. The last drawing, on the other hand, is a collage that brings together Leonidas of 300 in the style of Teen Titans Go !, the fight scene in the rain from Batman v. Superman and finally the zombie Alpha Queen from Army of the Dead.
A tribute certainly very welcome by fans of the director of Justice League. Incidentally, only last week we discovered that an animated version of Zack Snyder will make a cameo in Teen Titans GO !, and with this tribute from Hipp it is once again underlined that, despite the differences between Snyder and Warner Bros., the director will always be a point of reference in the DC world.
