The ARTYS convention will bring together internationally renowned choreographers and dancers in Boucherville

Following the great success experienced in 2022, the management of the ARTYS convention invites dance enthusiasts with experience to participate in the program for its second edition, from August 25 to 27, at the Hôtel Mortagne in Boucherville. The Clique troupe (Revolution finalists) and Ann-Florence Bégin (Revolution), are the spokespersons and will also take part in the event.

“Innovating and renewing are part of our corporate values ​​and we look forward to this second edition which promises to be very formative and diversified. The quality of service and the pleasure of the participants are also essential elements that guide our organization. We are happy and proud to propel, once again, a great gathering of dance enthusiasts,” says Joëlle Bourdeau, Lili-Pierre Landry and Noëlle-Émilie Desbiens, co-founders of Artys.

An edition rich in personalities
Led by various renowned guest teachers/choreographers – including Misha Gabriel (Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and he rose to fame as an actor in 2012 playing the lead role in the popular films Step Up ) and Haley Fitzgerald (Jennifer Lopez, Nick Jonas) direct from Los Angeles, as well as famous World of Dance Season 4 winners Emma Mather and Diego Pasillas, participating dancers will have access to more 18 hours of master classes and workshops using different styles (Contemporary, Hip hop, Street styles, Jazz, Ballet, Ballroom, Tap, Jazz Funk, Lyrical, etc.).

Once again this year, participants will have the chance to work on the “Radar Technique” method of the Australian Rebecca Davies, whose effectiveness is recognized worldwide!

Will attend the convention, Janick Arseneau (Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, “So you think you can dance” finalist, Dance 100 choreographer on Netflix, etc.), Janie Richard (Revolution winner), Marie-Josée Corriveau (Revolution winner), Vanesa GR Montoya (Grands Ballets Canadiens), Handy “HYA” Hyacinthe (founder of the JOAT Festival), Saxon Fraser, (choreographer of ice dance gold medalists Guillaume Cizeron and Gabriella Papadakis in Beijing in 2022, choreographer Révolution), Ricky St-Jusna (Revolution, Dancing to Win), Justin Jackson (America’s got talent, Revolution), Jessie Mineau (Revolution), Frédérique Brunet (Mary Poppins, Footloose and Mamma Mia at the St-Denis Theater) and Tina Desrochers (the immersive NETFLIX The Queen’s Ball: Bridgerton Experience).

In addition to the convention section, there will be a competition section for solos, duos and small groups (4 to 9 dancers), audition classes, a “Showcase”, and numerous prizes and recognitions.
