The basketball team. 13 players will fly to Israel for the new coach’s debut

Grzegorz Kulka and Dominik Wilczek will not go to Tel Aviv from the group of players training in the short training camp in Warsaw, which is not a surprise. There will be 12 players in the line-up for the meeting that begins the term of coach of Igor Milicic. The thirteenth on the plane is a security in the event of possible positive results of coronavirus tests or an injury. It can be assumed that the match in civilian clothes will be watched by one of the debuting circuit players, i.e. Jakub Nizioł, Jakub Karolak or Michał Kolenda.

Earlier, a jaw injury ruled out Michał Sokołowski, problems with Michał Michalak’s spine, and in Israel, due to his duties in the Euroleague, Mateusz Ponitka cannot play (he will come to the next meeting with Germany in Lublin). Other basic players of the team from the recent past did not get appointments at all: AJ Slaughter, Aaron Cel, Adam Hrycaniuk, Adam Waczyński, Łukasz Koszarek, and Damian Kulig.
