Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the creator of Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, working on a new drama youth set in the 80’s to the nascent platform Quibi.
In accordance with Variety, the new project is based on his own play of 2008 “Good Boys and True”.
The series is described as a story of suspense that explores class, sexuality, and identity.
The plot of “Good Boys and True” it revolves around six people, united by a video tape disturbing and sexual in nature that begins to circulate on the campus of academy high school elite St. Joe’s School for Boys in the fall of 1988.
Aguirre-Sacasa co-written and will be executive producer of the series along with his partner Greg Murray, who is also the screenwriter of Riverdale.
By the time has not been announced to the actors that will make up the cast.
