The Eagle Owl may have a great rival in Trabzonspor. Turks want a Real Football player

Tymoteusz Puchacz could not count on a regular game for Union Berlin, therefore he decided to loan him to Trabzonspor until the end of the 2021/2022 season. “We are very pleased with the attitude of Timothy. By loan we wanted to give him the opportunity to play regularly in the next six months” – explained Oliver Ruhnert, the sports director of the Union. In turn, the daily “Kicker” reported that the current leader of the Turkish league is not obliged to buy Puchacz.

Media: Puchacz was not the first choice of Trabzonspor. He could still have a great rival

The Turkish 61saat.com portal informs that Tymoteusz Puchacz was not the first choice of Trabzonspor for the position of a left-back. The priority for the leader of the Super League was Marcelo, who is bound by a contract with Real Madrid until the end of the season. The Brazilian’s small number of minutes this season gave Trabzonsporu officials hope to persuade Marcelo to transfer, but the defender is likely to fulfill his Los Blancos contract.

The Spanish daily “AS”, in turn, reports that Marcelo received an offer under which he could count on earnings of EUR 2.5 million a year. And in their opinion, the situation is still open. “I hope they see him in the middle or on the wing, because the Marcelo vs Puchacz rivalry is beyond my imagination” – wrote Tomasz Ćwiąkała, Canal + Sport journalist. Currently, Puchacz’s only rival in the squad is 32-year-old Ismail Koybasi.

Despite his age and weak form, Marcelo cannot complain about the lack of interest among clubs around the world. Defensor has the option of returning to Brazil, where his favors are being sought by, among others, Fluminense, Botafogo and Palmeiras, and the player’s situation is also monitored by Inter Miami, a club managed by David Beckham in the United States.
