The English club is putting pressure on Ousmane Dembele. FC Barcelona will lose the French for free?

It is still unclear where Ousmane Dembele will play next season. FC Barcelona wants to extend the contract with the French, but as reported by “Mundo Deportivo”, strong pressure on the player is exerted by Manchester United.

The current contract of the “Blaugrana” winger expires in June next year. This means that from January he will be able to negotiate with any employer and sign an agreement that will apply from July.

Although the French is struggling with injuries a lot and he never showed his full potential at Camp Nou, he is still very much counted on in Barcelona. A few weeks ago, he was offered a new contract.

Until now, however, “Barca” has not met with a response from the player. He still hasn’t made a decision about where he will perform next season.

As “Mundo Deportivo” informs, Manchester United is pushing hard on the winger. The Red Diabły wanted to hire a player a year ago. At that time, his move to Old Trafford did not take place, but the topic did not disappear at all.

Despite the fact that there are many players in the England runners-up who can play on the wing, Dembele would have to strengthen the competition even more. At the same time, FC Barcelona is not giving up trying to convince the French to stay.

Joan Laporta and Xavi, a fan of the player’s talent, took matters into their own hands. Dani Alves, who recently joined the team, also spoke to the 24-year-old.

Dembele is loud in the Spanish media for one more reason – he was significantly late for one of the training sessions because he had missed his hours. You can read more about it HERE.
