Chosen and directed by US producer and director Antoine Fuqua, for the third installment of his famous action sequel with million-dollar receipts
MESSINA – Daniele Perrone is the only Sicilian in the Italian cast of the long-awaited “The Equalizer 3”, the millionaire-grossing saga directed by Antoine Fuqua, produced by Sony Pictures, and which sees Denzel Washington as the absolute protagonist in the now famous and beloved role by Robert McCall. Alongside the double Oscar-winning actor, Denzel Washington, also the actress Dakota Fanning.
The set of the action movie this time sees crew and stellar cast all in Italy, between the Amalfi Coast, Naples and Rome. The first two chapters, released in 2014 and 2018, grossed $192 million and $190 million respectively. Therefore, a third episode could not be missing. Daniele Perrone, 41 years old, Sicilian from Santa Teresa di Riva, candidate for the David di Donatello in 2010 as best supporting actor for Giuseppe Tornatore’s Baaria, was once again chosen for an international project with worldwide success.
