The XIV edition of the PolieCo International Forum on the waste economy, after two years of “exile” in Naples due to Covid, returns to its historic headquarters in Ischia. The Forum – expected every year by operators in the sector and of fundamental importance for the attention to the fight against eco-mafias and the fight against illicit waste trafficking – will be held on the island of Campania on Friday 30 September and Saturday 1 October 2022. The PolieCo Forum has acquired increasing authority and international prestige over the years, gaining the nickname of “the Cernobbio” of the Environment among the operators.
In a short press release addressed above all to collaborators, the President Enrico Bobbio expressed “the thrill of returning to offering participants the fascinating setting of the” Green Island “, a natural stage and very appropriate for the development of an event entirely dedicated to green economy declined from the point of view of recycling ». The organizers of the Forum guarantee two days of advanced training and information that will bring together authoritative exponents from the world of business, politics, the judiciary, journalism and the academic world to reflect on the challenge of a green future, on the inconveniences of the sector. recycling, on national and cross-border illicit trafficking, on the criticalities of the waste collection system. The PolieCo Forum is only one of the educational and institutional activities promoted by the Environmental Consortium: which lives its mission not as a commercial enterprise, but with the sole purpose of the environment. In this, his vigilant attention against any anti-environmental behavior which, as emerged above all in the last season (see the interventions of Sen. Morra, President of the Anti-Mafia Commission, have caused a sensation and also aroused some protests from some institutions), explicit only in an immediately visible environmental damage, but in much more serious damage that appears to be immediately dormant or bearable.
