Zac Efron is “Ted Bundy” in the film with Lily Collins, Kaya Scodelario and John Malkovich, broadcast in prime time on Rai 4: the plot
Thursday 10 March at 21.20 Rai4 (channel 21 of digital terrestrial) goes to the discovery of one of the most notorious serial killers that American history remembers, Theodore Robert Bundy, author of at least 30 murders between 1974 and 1978. To give life to the killer serial with the face of a good boy is the former “America’s sweetheart” Zac Efron, protagonist of the thriller film “Ted Bundy – Criminal Charm”.
Directed by Joe Berlinger, an appreciated documentary maker who in the same year also made the four-episode docu-series Conversations with a killer: The Bundy case, the film boasts the participation in roles of co-stars Lily Collins, Kaya Scodelario and John Malkovich. Focusing on Ted’s relationship with student Liz Kendall, the film follows Bundy’s life from his private events to the trial that would have sentenced him to death row. Presented in its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, the work received numerous nominations at prestigious festivals, winning an award for directing at the Atlanta Film Festival.
