Dramatic anthological series that wants to tell the life, family and events of three important US First Ladies. The series boasting an amazing cast received mixed praise and was canceled after one season.
The series
The life, hardships, successes and difficulties of three extraordinary women – Eleonor Roosevelt, Betty Ford and Michelle Obama – the series portrays them in the most diverse moments. Roosevelt was first lady from 1933 to 1945, Ford from 1974 to 1977 and finally Obama held this role from 2019 to 2017. To enrich the series the presence of a super cast Gillian Anderson is Eleanor Roosevelt, Michelle Pfeiffer is Betty Ford and Viola Davis plays Michelle Obama. At their side we find Dakota Fanning, Kiefer Sutherland, Aaron Eckhart.
