the first patch has removed Denuvo on PC and will improve performance on consoles –

Warner Bros. plans to improve performance from Gotham Knights and the first patch expected for the game should point precisely to this aspect, as far as consoles are concerned, in addition to having removed the Denuvo safety system from the PC version, where it is already available.

According to the developers on Twitter, the team is working on a “big patch that improves overall performance and allows everyone to have the best experience possible.” This means, for console users, that the main problem to be solved is the “frame-rate stability”but not only.

The first patch has in fact already been released on PC and, among the various changes, it seems that it has also removed the Denuvo anti-tamper system, even if this has not been publicly reported by Warner Bros. In fact, various interventions can be read in the patch notes specific, but some testimonials also indicate the removal of Denuvo from the PC version, which in fact would be part of this search for better performance, probably.

Among the adjustments, in the patch notes we find the correction of particular animations of enemies intent on “meditating” during crimes, the correction of problems relating to the user interface and the display of some graphic settings, problems with localization and keyboard inputs.

Also fixed an issue that did not allow you to start a multiplayer game at the invitation of a friend and improved stability with the removal of some crashes. For the rest, we are waiting to know more precisely the characteristics of the update on console.

We remember our review of Gotham Knights, a game that has received several criticisms also for its less than ideal performance despite the 30 fps block, as also demonstrated by the very mixed votes from the international press.
