The first single of Beyoncé’s long-awaited album was released in the early hours of Tuesday:“Break My Soul” it’s 90’s inspired and highly “danceable”.
The song, with almost five minutes in length, has an influence on the house musica musical genre that takes us to the 90s, and that has had an impact on the current musical environment, as we can see in songs by Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa.
It is part of the American singer’s seventh album – which is the cover of Vogue this month -, “ACT I Renaissence”, scheduled for release on digital platforms on July 29. Successor of “Lemonade” (2016) already has the pre-save available on Beyoncé’s official website.
One day before the launch, the singer of hit “Halo”changed the biography of social networks to “6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET”to indicate the dissemination of the new theme.
On social networks, fans showed approval Beyoncé’s first solo song since 2016.

Along with your previous album “Lemonade”the festive and danceable tone of break my soul also includes feminist signals as we can hear when it says: “Release ya anger/Release ya mind/Release ya job/Release the time/Release ya trade/Release ya stress/Release the love/Forget the rest”.
the outrageous and conscientious way in which Beyoncé has been retaking symbols and genres to the black community, in her latest works, is beautiful to see.
