The Girl From Plainville: plot and cast
This limited series explores the relationship between Michelle Carter and Conrad Roy III and the events that led to his suicide and her manslaughter conviction. Besides Elle Fanning in the series we find Chloë Sevigny as Lynn Roy, Colton Ryan as Conrad “Coco” Roy III, Dear Buono as Gail Carter, Kai Lennox as David Carter e Norbert Leo Butz as Conrad “Co” Roy II.
Produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, the series is written and produced by showrunners Liz Hannah (The Post, The Dropout, Mindhunter) and Patrick Macmanus (Dr. Death), Elle Fanning and Brittany Kahan Ward of Echo Lake, with advice from Jesse Barron and Erin Lee Carr (I Love You, Now Die). Kelly Funke supervises on behalf of Macmanus’ Littleton Road Productions, as part of its overall agreement with UCP.
