Environment and digital, but above all digital for the environment:“The Green and the Blue festival – Good ideas for the future of the planet” born for this and returns this year, from 23 to 25 September. Now in its third edition, a BIP project, carried out in partnership with BAM, Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano, production and communication by Beulcke + Partners, as well as partners such as Engineering and Ferrovie dello Stato. Three days of free events to fully reflect on energy, digital innovation and sustainable development, with a strong focus on future trends.

The third edition of the event will open on Friday 23 at 9:30 am in the setting of Palazzo Reale: from panels dedicated to energy, equity and peace, to talks on nuclear power and the consequences of war, to working groups dedicated to renewable energy and cybersecurity

The first day

The official opening of the Festival will be Friday 23 September at 9.30 am at the Royal Palace with speeches by Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan and Luciano Floridi, professor of information philosophy and ethics at the Oxford Internet Institute of the University of Oxford. The second day of “The Green and the Blue Festival – Good ideas for the future of the planet” will be divided into three different appointments.

Following, Il Verde e il Blu Festival premier the most innovative ideas presented during the “Green and Blue Challenge”, the first competition on digital and sustainability issues in the field of energy solutions organized in collaboration with the Energy Department of the Politecnico di Milano. The second day will continue with a reflection on young people within the panel “Young Europe – A year dedicated to young people: climate, innovation, work”. The last day of the works, Sunday 25 September, will start at 9 am with the activities of “Thoughts for the Earth”, a project by BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano created in collaboration with the Verde and Blu Festival within the BAM program “Season Day: Welcome Autumn!” Other important events for this last day will be the 12.30 talk “Green and blue in a suitcase”in which the journalist and writer Riccardo Finelli and the influencer Human Safari will talk about travel and sustainable tourism; the debate, at 3.30 pm, on “Civic brands” and greenwashingwith the intervention of Paolo Iabichino, communicator and advertiser and founder of the Civic Brands Observatory and the participation of Nicola Moscheni and Sofia Pasotto of the Green Influencer Club, Davide Villa, Board Member of E.ON Italia, Luca Montani, communication expert of sustainability, and in connection with the Metaverse, Zaira, a metainfluencer who for the first time participates in an event and has chosen the stage of il Verde and the Blu Festival for her debut. The last meeting with the guests of the Festival will focus on the theme of sustainable fashion, just in conjunction with the Milan Fashion Week, with a talk entitled “A green catwalk” told by the expert voices of Eva Geraldine Fontanelli, stylist, influencer and eco-entrepreneur, Federica Marchionni, CEO of Global Fashion Agenda, Francesca Romana Rinaldi, SDA Bocconi Monitor for Circular Fashion and Tiziano Guardini, fashion designer and father of ECOuture.
