The King’s Man – The Origins, on IBS the DVD of the prequel of the saga

Thursday 24 February 2022 – Home video

An English nobleman, who collaborates with his wife with the Red Cross, finds himself involved in a tragic shooting in Africa, where he witnessed the horrors of English colonization. Years later, his son is now almost a man and wants to enlist to participate in the First World War. Instead, his father tries to convince him to serve the country instead by collaborating with his network of international spies, made up of the servants of various noble houses. In the meantime, however, an association of shady figures has also infiltrated the main European courts and has very sinister plans, which extend beyond the Great War.

Matthew Vaughn is directing the prequel to the now famous saga composed by Kingsman – Secret Service and of Kingsman – The Golden Circle (see video review).

The origin story of the British secret service stars Ralph Fiennes alongside Gemma Arterton in the role of a nanny-version spy. The villain is the mentalist Erik Jan Hanussen, played by Daniel Brühl, while Tom Hollander (who is credited in the credits cubed) has the triple role of King George, the Kaiser and the Tsar. A film that will not leave fans of the most elegant secret agency disappointed.

The King’s Man – The origins is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray on IBS.
