The Masked Singer’s Charlotte Crosby has poked fun at the judging panel for comparing her voice to the likes of superstar Mary J Blige.
The UK reality star, who belted out a number of songs as ‘Space Fairy’, took at cheeky swipe while talking to Yahoo Lifestyle on Tuesday.
The judges, who are known for their outlandish guesses, compared Crosby to the likes of Blige, Marcia Hines, Joss Stone, and Jesy Nelson.
‘Surely I didn’t sound like Mary J Blige!’ Charlotte told the publication.
Charlotte did say she was ‘proud’ of herself following the show and clearly enjoyed the experience of the show.
‘I can carry a tune, but I’m not the best of the best. (But) the fact that I went out on stage in front of a crowd and a Spice Girl… I’ve never in my whole life thought I’d be able to do that.’
Charlotte cleared-up talk of her saying her time on the show was ‘horrendous’, adding she was just referring to the costume.
‘When I took the head off, I was like, ‘Thank God I am finally free, that’s been horrendous’ and I was talking about the costume,’ she said.
On Monday night’s episode, Charlotte was unmasked as ‘Space Fairy’ on the show, leaving the judges stunned.
Speaking to host Osher Günsberg, Charlotte admitted she’s never sung in front of anyone in her life.
‘Do you understand how nervous I’ve been,’ she told the judges.
‘Listen, I thought I was going to whip this head off and it was going to be like a L’Oreal advert,’ she continued.
But the reality of the competition signing proved very different.
‘I’ve been ripping my extensions out with stress,’ Charlotte continued.
‘This has been horrendous,’ she screamed to applause.
It comes after Bluebottles was unmasked as Shaynna Blaze in last week’s episode.
The Block star took to the stage singing Call Me by Blondie before busting out A Little Less Conversation by Elvis Presley.
The week before, Bad Avocado was revealed to be Summer Warne, the youngest daughter of late cricketing legend Shane Warne.
In the new series, Channel 10 newsreader Sandra Sully was also unmasked as Fawn.
In the premiere episode, Brian Austin Green from Beverly Hills, 90210 was unmasked as Crash Test Dummy.
The Masked Singer continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel 10
