The Playoffs – Drake London will not coach for the Atlanta Falcons this week

Drake London will miss the Atlanta Falcons for some time, and possibly the rest of the preseason. The information was confirmed by head coach Arthur Smith at a press conference on Sunday (14).

The wide receiver suffered an injury to his right knee in the first reception of his career as an NFL player. Drake London left the field and was evaluated in the team’s medical attempt, being soon ruled out for the remainder of the match against the Detroit Lions valid for the preseason.

Smith said health issues vary from player to player, but he expects to have London and the others injured in Week 1.

“We have different players with different comeback plans, but nothing to worry about for the long term. We will be smart. He [London] had a good training camp. We left a few other players out today, but we hope to have them all back healthy and ready for action when the regular season begins.”

Still specifically about London, Smith stated that the wide receiver’s situation will be decided week by week, not confirming the rookie’s return for the remainder of the preseason.

“We’ll see. We will evaluate week by week and make the best decision. He’s had a good camp, he’s had a first experience and I’m satisfied. As with all of our players, our number one decision is health and safety and how that affects the team.”

Pros and defects: he manages to finish Super Mario Bros in less than 5 minutes but he has never finished Final Fight with a credit ... he's still trying.
