The psychological thriller Dark Winds renewed for a second season

On the air for two weeks, the series is produced by George RR Martin and Robert Redford.

Back in the 70s with the Navajo agents Leaphorn and Chee: the American network AMC has renewed the psychological thriller Dark Winds – adaptation of Tony Hillerman’s novels focusing on the characters of the same name – for a second season of six episodes. The announcement follows the US debut just two weeks.

“This unprecedented creative team and cast have come up with something very special with Dark Winds“said the entertainment president of AMC Studios Dan McDermott in a statement. “We can’t wait to share the rest of this thrilling ride with fans in Season 1 and continue to follow Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee into Season 2 on AMC and AMC + next year.”

Produced by George RR Martin (Game of thrones) And Robert Redford, Dark Winds follows the two agents played by Zahn McClarnon (Westworld) And Kiowa Gordon (Roswell, New Mexico) as they search for clues to solving a grisly double murder case in the southwestern United States near Monument Valley in 1971. The closer they get to the truth, the more Leaphorn and Chee are forced to deal with the traumas of their past. . Together they must fight the forces of evil, each other and their own personal demons on the way to salvation.
