The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) and Vanity Fair Italia have once again joined forces to host a gala dinner to celebrate women in cinema, during the second edition of the Festival held from 1 to 10 December in Jeddah, on the east coast of the Red Sea.
Vanity Fair oversaw the artistic direction of the event which took place in the suggestive location of the Park Hyatt in Jeddah. Here, international writers, screenwriters, directors, producers, actresses and artists have gathered to celebrate the incredible wealth of female talents who nurture their profession and are a source of inspiration for a new generation of creatives.
During the evening, presented by the Lebanese entrepreneur and model Jessica Kahawatythe guests were also able to attend the performances of two extraordinary artists, Carla Brownactress, singer and former model, ed Elissaone of Lebanon’s most celebrated singers and one of the best-known female artists in the Arab world.
They also went on stage Jomana AlrashidChairwoman of Red Sea Film Foundation, Mohammed Al TurkiCEO of the Red Sea International Film Festival e Simone Marchettidirector of Vanity Fair Italia who wanted to celebrate the immense work that actresses, directors, screenwriters and editors give every day to the industry of dreams with seriousness and conscience.
An exclusive after party with a deejay set enlivened the evening afterwards.
The event is part of the vast initiative, promoted and developed by Vanity Fair and Red Sea Film Festival, aimed at creating networks of talents and encouraging new opportunities for meeting and sharing.
Among the guests who attended the evening: Jessica Sunrise, Lucas Good boy, Priyanka Chopra, Andy Garcia, Luca They earn, Lucy Hale, Elle Macpherson, Guy Ritchie, Michelle Rodríguez, Olivers Stone And Sharon Stone.
