The Rookie: Feds – TV Series (2022)

The Rookie: Feds is an American TV series spin-off of the detective story The Rookiecreated as the latter by Alexi Hawley with the collaboration of Terence Paul Winter. The crime drama follows Niecy Nash (Dahmer) as Simone Clark, a former Washington DC career counselor who, at the age of 48, finally realized her dream of joining the FBI, becoming its oldest freshman.
After leaving the Academy, Simone arrives in Los Angeles and aims to join the special unit that Agent Matthew Garza (Felix Solis, Ozark) recently formed with the intention of focusing more on detective work and less on FBI paperwork. Garza’s team includes Carter Hope (James Lesure, Good Girls), a traditionalist in constant pursuit of promotion who acts as Simone’s training agent while also facing a divorce; Laura Stenson (Britt Robertson, Under the Dome), a former member of the Behavioral Sciences Unit who desperately needs a second chance after a nervous breakdown due to personal reasons; and Brendon Acres (Kevin Zegers, Gossip Girl), an award-winning former actor who came out of the Academy with Simone.
On the home front, Simone has a strained relationship with her father Cutty (Frankie Faison, Banshee), mainly due to their conflicting views on law enforcement.
