Fox has no intention of giving up on the success of the most famous yellow family on the small screen. The Simpsonsnow in its 34th season, will continue until at least 2025 with two more seasons that will bring the total number of episodes of Matt Groening’s successful cartoon to exceed 800.
It was 1989 when the first episode of The Simpsons debuted in the United States, while the Italian public had to wait for 1991, when Canale 5 broadcast the episodes of the first season for the very first time. 34 years later Homer & Co. continue to reap successes and Fox is renewing the cartoon in blocks of two seasons at a time.
The renewal announcement comes as Season 34 is still ongoing in the US, with 12 episodes already airing and the final 10 arriving in the coming weeks, beginning February 19, 2023. and 2025, others two seasons consisting of 22 episodeswhich will make The Simpsons the longest running animated show ever.
Not just Simpsons. Renewal also for Griffin and Bob’s Burgers
The Symposons is not the only cartoon on which Fox has decided to continue focusing. Family Guythe cartoon created by Seth MacFarlane in 1999, has been renewed for two more seasons, the 22nd and 23rd, and will continue its run until 2025. The number of episodes has not been made official by Fox, but if we look at the last seasons it is reasonable to imagine that the two new seasons will consist of 20 episodes each, with debuts respectively in September 2023 and September 2024.
Renewal for another two seasons also for Bob’s Burgerscreated by Loren Bouchard in 2011. The cartoon will continue until 2025 with the 14th and 15th seasons, each consisting of 22 episodes as happened from season 9 onwards.
