Another bubble burst in AnTuTu – as expected, a million points in the popular benchmark was achieved by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. Qualcomm was not the first, however.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 is as strange as it is efficient – Qualcomm’s chief SoC, in which the flagships will be equipped in December, appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark and mixed it up sharply. There is a record, there are a million points.
A million in AnTuTu for the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor
Exactly 1035020 meshes won the flagship chip of the American manufacturer. There is something to be happy about, because it is the highest result in history – even better than the one recorded by MediaTek Dimensity 9000. The Taiwanese processor was the first to score a million in AnTuTu, but it was worse by about 30,000 points.

The competition at the highest level will be even more equal, and in addition, there is a visible increase in performance compared to the Snapdragon 888 and 888+. The difference is at least 150,000 points, although remember that we do not yet know the real potential of Snap 8 Gen1.
Manufacturers will optimize it for their phones themselves, and moreover, there are Android overlays and some gaming smartphones that will appear on the market in a few months. I believe that the final benchmarks of the processor will be several tens of thousands of points higher.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will soon hit the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, so it’s worth getting to know it from the inside – it’s a 4-nanometer chip with Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710 and A510 cores and Adreno 710 graphics. In terms of construction, it will be similar to its competitor Dimensity 9000 which you can read more about below:
There was a million in AnTuTu, and this is not even due to the Snapdragon 898!
