The series is based on the novel of the same name by Jenny Han, the same as All the Times I’ve Loved You Written.
Waiting for the debut on June 17th, Prime Video released the teaser trailer of her new teen series – or, if you prefer, young adult – based on the best-selling novel written by Jenny Han, Summer in your eyes.
Summer in your eyes: The plot and the cast
Written by Han herself (also author of the famous trilogy All the times I’ve written I love you which inspired Netflix movies) with Gabrielle Stanton (Titans), Summer in your eyes (The Summer I Turned Pretty in the original version) explores in 8 episodes the love triangle that is created between a girl, Belly (played by Lola Tung), and two brothers, Con and Jere (Christopher Briney And Gavin Casalegno). A coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of a perfect summer, the series also addresses several other themes, such as the ever-changing relationships between mothers and children and the lasting power of strong female friendships.
“I thought this summer would be like all the other summers. But it’s not. Because I won’t let that happen,” Belly’s voiceover in the clip musically accompanied by This Love (Taylor’s Version)new single from the well-known Taylor Swift.
