The film will focus on his 25-year marriage to Felicia Montealegre, an actress and activist who died of lung cancer in 1978 at the age of 56. Directed by Bradley Cooper, Maestro is also produced by Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. Before its release on Netflix, the film will be presented exclusively at the Venice Film Festival on November 22.

A Broadway icon, composer Leonard Bernstein wrote the music for West Side Story for its grand premiere in 1957.
