The Umbrella Academy 3: announced the release of the new season

Season 2 of the comic book adaptation concluded in July 2020, with the Hargreeves brothers successfully stopping the apocalypse … only to return in 2019 to discover that a new timeline had been created by their interference, one in which Sir Reginald (and Ben!) Was not dead and Sparrow Academy is founded in place of Umbrella Academy.


The Official Season 3 Synopsis says, “After ending the 1963 Judgment Day, Umbrella Academy returns home to the present, convinced that it has prevented the apocalypse and fixed this God-forgotten timeline once and for all. . But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize that things are not quite as they left them. Enter the Sparrow Academy. Smart, elegant and warm as a sea of ​​icebergs, the Sparrow immediately clash with members of the Umbrella Academy in a violent confrontation that turns out to be the least of everyone’s worries. Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or will this new world turn out to be more than just a hitch in the timeline? ”. The Umbrella Academy will debut June 22 on Netflix.


Season 3 Sparrow Academy members will be played by Justin H. Min, Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Jake Epstein, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David and TV “newcomer” Dread-Inducing Psykronium Cube.

But despite the new additions to the cast, the family Hargreeves from The Umbrella Academy – Elliot Page as Vanya, Tom Hopper as Luther, David Castañeda as Diego, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, Robert Sheehan as Klaus and Aidan Gallagher as Number Five – will all return in Season 3, as will Colm Feore as Sir Reginald and the addition of the second season Ritu Arya as Lila.
