The village is transformed for the “Siena Award”

SOVICILLE – Sovicille is once again the protagonist as an art gallery and exhibition space. Thanks to Siena Awards, after the positive experiences of recent years, the village returns to host the photographs of the author. With a circular route along the streets of the historic center and in the main square it will be possible to admire the widespread exhibition “Face to face”, where dozens of faces of people of all ages and from all over the world will look out from the buildings of the historic center and from buffered windows and doors.

From the main square of Sovicille it will be possible to access the “La Tinaia” Cultural Center to visit “Dan Winters: Portraits “,personal exhibition of the photographer known and awarded worldwide for his portraits of celebrities, his scientific and space photographs and illustrations and his photojournalism works. In Sovicille Winters he will exhibit some of his portraits dedicated to the most important Hollywood stars (Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Denzel Washington, Nicole Kidman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio), best known rock stars (Bono, Eminem, Willie Nelson), scientists, sportsmen and ordinary people.

The support received from the city, its institutions and numerous partners has been extraordinary and has strengthened the principles and values ​​of this event born in 2015 with the aim of creating an event that belonged to the community and that would carry the name of Siena around the world. , its territory and its excellences. All the Siena Awards exhibitions will be open from October 1st to November 20thwith the following times: Friday, from 15 to 19, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10 to 19. For a few days it is therefore possible to admire the images inside the village, an increasingly close link between the territory and the manifestation it got international relevance after the shot that immortalized Mustafa and his father last year, a photo that went around the world and changed the lives of the protagonists.
